Hi Atinder, you can apply for the visa after you have the admission offer. So first you check if you are eligible to apply to any university. Your IELTS is good but what about your B.Tech scores?

Yes you are. IELTS is a test, there is no question of eligibility here. However the scores are valid for 2 years only so if your scores expire by the time you are applying to a foreign university you have to attempt the test again.

Yes, any good university will ask for a GMAT score though there could be exceptions. Check Thompson Rivers University or Vancouver Island University, they don't ask for GMAT.

Hi Mohith,
You will have a chance, despite the backlogs you have managed to score good grades. Now a lot will depend on your application package, SOP and LORs. Good Luck.

Hi Sushant,
With 7 CGPA its going to be difficult in Canada though your GRE score is moderate. Remember GRE is not mandatory in Canadian universities. Chances in an US university a good one but not a highly ranked one is pretty decent. Your admissions will also depend on your SOP and the LORs.

Hi Babneet,
This is a sole decision of the college if they will give you scholarships or not basis your profile, your transcript, SOP etc. Most General Scholarships do not require applications but some do. Please get in touch with the college if you are required to submit any scholarship or not.

Hi Dhiraj,
Yes, you can but perhaps the universities will ask for a retake or offer you an ELICOS program. You may check with the universities directly before applying.

Hi Prince,
Your IELTS band alone won't determine your admission. You have to understand your academic grades and education background will be given more weightage so for a better guidance please specify your profile.

Hi Avtar, NIOS is recognized however it depends on the college if the qualification will be accepted or not for further admissions. Your grades are good and so is your IELTS score. Please write to the colleges about your NIOS qualification before applying.
