The PTE exam fees and the IELTS exam fees for Indian students are just the same, i.e. INR 18,000. The fees for both these exams have increased by equal amounts, i.e. INR 1000 in the year 2025. PTE exam fees and IELTS exam fees for Indian students in 2026 continues to be INR 18,000.

Yes, IELTS is often a crucial language requirement for pursuing an MBA in New Zealand. Most universities require a minimum overall band score of 6.5, with no individual band lower than 6.0. Howver, for MBA, one need to have good GMAT score, as only IELTS score will not help you in admission.

Yes, IELTS is deemed a valid proof of English language proficiency by the university, along with TOEFL & Duolingo.
The minimum IELTS score deemed acceptable for admission is 6.0. While, the institute also accepts a TOEFL score of 70 or more as well as Duolingo score of 100+.
Students must also submit valid English transcripts of past educational qualifications, among some other documents for identity verification purposes.

Roughly, yes! A PTE score around 65 is generally equivalent to an IELTS Band 7.0. But check your university-specific requirements. They may require a minimum score in each section.Not just total average.
