The IELTS score required for admission to SFU is overall 6.5 with no part less than 6.0. The same score is required for admission to PG courses as well. Additionally, in place of IELTS scores, students can also submit TOEFL / PTE / Duolingo scores. The minimum test scores required in these English language proficiency test scores are given below:

Yes, IELTS is considered an acceptable test score for admissions at UNC Wilmington. The language test score requirements are applicable to international students who have not pursued their education from an institute with first language being English or do not satisfy the minimum SAT or ACT score requirement.
UNCW also accepts TOEFL, Duolingo, Pearson & iTEP Academic as valid test scores.

No, both GRE and IELTS are not required to work in Canada. The intent of both exams are different. GRE is a standardized test for getting admission to MS or MBA programme abroad.
Yes, IELTS is required to work in Canada. IELTS General Training is the correct test type for immigration/work purposes.
