Yes, even if the students are from the commerce stream without maths, they can still prepare for the IPMAT exam without coaching. The formal coaching has its own perks, but students can also fetch good marks with IPMAT self-preparation. IPMAT exam preparation without coaching may require the students to put in extra effort but it is possible.
Students can refer to NCERT mathematics books from Class 9 to Class 12 for starters. The important topics would include arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, etc.

IIM Indore generally sees strong placement for its MBA program. In the 2024 placements, despite challenging macroeconomic conditions, 594 students from the PGP and IPM programs received offers from over 150 recruiters. While the average salary saw a dip from Rs 30.21 LPA to Rs 25.68 LPA, about half of the placements were in Consulting and Management & HR functions. The fees for the two-year MBA (PGP) programme are approximately Rs16.28 to Rs26.50 lakhs.

IIM Indore announced the IPMAT dates and schedule. The IPMAT 2026 exam was conducted on May 4, 2026. The registrations for IPMAT 2026 started on February 2, 2026
The IPMAT admission process is completely online and the schedule will also be announced online on the official website. The IPMAT 2026 exam will be conducted in one shift only (afternoon shift) like every year. The schedule along with the exam timings and duration will be announced soon by IIM Indore in a detailed notification for the IPMAT exam.

To get into the IPM (Integrated Programme in Management) at IIM Indore, you must clear the IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) conducted by IIM Indore. The tuition fee for PGDM courses at Praxis Business School is INR 11.3 lakh. On the other hand, the tuition fee for IIM Indore ranges from INR 17.3 Lacs to INR 35 lakh. Hence, pursuing an MBA/PGDM from Praxis Business School is more affordable compared to IIM Indore. However, the mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. BBA at IIM Indore is a part of the institute's dual degree programme in Management. The institute offers IPM which is an integrated BBA + MBA course. The first three years of the course are dedicated to the BBA programme. For the first three years, domestic applicants must pay INR 5 Lacs per annum. Hence, IIM Indore BBA fee is INR 15 lakh for three years.
