EWS certificates really help in IIMs. EWS stands for Economically Weaker Section. They're for folks who can get special spots in government jobs and schools. In IIMs, 10% seats are set aside for EWS folks.

If you have an EWS certificate, you might get a call from IIMs even if your CAT score is a bit lower than general category folks. Like, say a general category person with a 99 percentile in CAT might not get a call from IIM C, but an EWS student with the same score could totally get a call.

The IIM Sirmaur CAT cutoff 2024 will not be released on a public platform and will only be accessible for students who appeared for the entrance exam.
