Admission to IIT Guwahati is conducted through IIT JAM scores. Based on the scores, the IIT Guwahati cutoff 2025 is released for the candidates belonging to All India quota for different categories including General, OBC, SC, ST, PWD, and EWS. The cutoffs vary from college to college. As per the IIT Guwahati cutoff 2025 released for the Round 1 seat allotment, getting a rank between 61 and 259 will help to get an edge over the competition. IIT Guwahati UCEED cutoff 2025 has been initiated with the release of the round 1 of the cutoff list. As per the cutoff released, the cutoff rank for OBC AI category candidates was closed at 44. Therefore, candidates belonging to the OBC AI category must have a rank of 44 or below to get a sea at BDes in IIT Guwahati. In 2024 and 2023, the cutoff rank for the same category stood at 46 and 42, respectively in the first round. This shows a fluctuating trend in the cutoff rank since the past three years.

Whether 50 in UCEED a good rank for IIT Guwahati depends on the category the student belongs to. For students belonging to the General AI category, the cutoff rank in round 1 was 77. Therefore, attaing a rank of 50 can secure a seat at the college, for the General AI category candidates. Among the OBC AI category students, the cutoff rank was closed at 44. Thus, for the OBC AI category candidates, it is not possible to get a seat at the college with 50 rank in UCEED. Similarly, for other categories also, it is difficult as the rank required is quite lower.

To get admission to BDes course offered by IIT Guwahati, candidates must attain the rank as per the category they belong to. IIT Guwahati UCEED cutoff 2025 has been released for the first and the second round for different categories of students in the AII India quota. In the first round, the cutoff rank for the General AI category candidates was 77. During the Round 2 of admission, the UCEED closing rank stood at 81 for B.Des admission.
