For this category, the last round cutoff ranged from 201 to 2786. To get admission to core branches, like BTech CSE, Chemical, Civil, and Mechanical, students need to target a rank of at least 201, 1638, 2067 and 1212 or lower, respectively. IIT Guwahati BTech cutoff 2026 ranged from 810 to 10525 for the students belonging to the General category AI quota. Similarly, for the EWS category, the Round 1 closing ranks varied between 120 and 1596 under the AI quota. IIT Guwahati JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 ranged from 810 in the first round to 12170 in the last round for the General AI category.

If you belong to the General AI quota, the UCEED target rank should be below 90 to secure a seat at IIT Guwahati. In 2025, the Round 3 closing rank was 90 for B.Des admission. Please note that the cutoff ranks vary for different rounds, years, and categories. For the OBC category students, the cutoff rank was 50, so candidates must aim to secure a rank lower than 50 to improve their chances of getting admission to this institute.

IIT Guwahati offers admission to various UG and PG course specialisations based on different national-level exams. For instance, BTech admission is based on JEE Advanced ranks. IIT Guwahati offers a B.Tech in Data Science and AI program, but admission to this, is only through the JEE Advanced exam and There is no direct admission to the B.Tech in Data Science and AI at IIT Guwahati without appearing and qualifying in the JEE exams.Bsc Hona. In data Science and AI does not require JEE EXAM. You can take admission in B.Sc hons. On the basis of class 12th marks.

IIT Guwahati offers BSC (Hons) in Data Science and AI Which is a foour year degree and it's fees ranges from 3,50,000 to 4,00,000.It also offers B.Tech course in data Science and AI, Which is a four year course and it's frees ranges from 8,00,000 to 9,05,000.

With a GATE XL score of 576 and rank of 952, it is unlikely to secure admission to IIT Guwahati's M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering in 2025. The closing GATE scores for IIT Guwahati M.Tech programs usually range around 750 or higher (General category), and Biomedical-related specializations also fall within a similar cut-off bracket.
