This is the only IIT college where placement and infrastructure are both very good.
Placements: In IIT Indore, 95% of students got placed. In my electrical branch, more than 50% of students got placed with a 2-digit LPA package. The highest package was nearly 50 LPA from my branch last year. Top companies are Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Goldman Sachs, etc. For electrical and electronics, top companies are NVIDIA, AMD, Snapdragon, Qualcomm, etc. These companies give more than 30 LPA. More than 70% of students got internships from college, and after doing their internships, PPOs are also offered. Top roles we get include chip research, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of IIT Indore is one of the best in India. Hostel of this college looks like a hotel. There is a common room for every 5 students. Every student of this college gets single from the first year. Although from this year, first-year students have to share a single room with one partner due to an increase in branches in B.Tech. Everything is here when it comes to the facility.
Faculty: Teachers are too helpful. In IIT Indore, all professors are well-qualified with an IIT degree. And they wrote many research papers which published in foreign universities like MIT, Oxford, etc. Course is not so relevant. In Civil, metallurgy branch has some subjects that are outdated. Due to many clubs where students personality enhances, students become industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. 80% of students pass every semester.
Other: I chose this course because I got into counselling. The best thing is in my course on embedded system thoughts, which the industry needs, and chip design companies are a basic requirement. I would say colleges have to improve internship facilities among core branches, students as electrical, civil, metallurgy, etc. There is a FLUXUS annual tech fest organized every year, which is the biggest fest in central India.

Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 92 percent of students got placed. The highest is 60 LPA, the average is 25 LPA, and the lowest is around 8 LPA. Amazon, Oracle, Microsoft, BHEL, Cisco, and Accenture visited. We get internships during our third year. Almost 80 percent get internships. The above-mentioned companies take us as interns. Roles offered are mostly VLSI- and software-based.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is a little bad. Other than that, all is good. There are double-sharing rooms; 3rd and 4th years get single-sharing rooms. The library is closed on holidays, but the self-study center is open 24/7. Food is not bad, but don't expect too much. You will live in a unit, 4 BHK. There are washrooms in each unit too.
Faculty: The teachers are good, but you have to do your own stuff. The course curriculum teaches a lot of relevant stuff. Semester exams are quite difficult, but as it is relative grading, you don't have to worry much. The pass percentage is very high. You get to go on industrial trips too.
Other: I wanted to get into a circuital branch. As this college is a top IIT, I thought this was better. There will be one or another event happening all the time.

It decent college with nice teachers.
Placements: In our course, the majority of students are placed with over 85% of the batch securing job offers. Top recruiting companies are NVIDIA, Texas Instruments, and Analog Devices, which consistently hire students for core technical roles, so it is overall a nice decision.
Infrastructure: The hostels are well-maintained and have a peaceful atmosphere with plenty of greenery. Classrooms and labs are equipped with decent facilities and high-speed Wi-Fi. Regular cleaning is carried out in both academic and hostel areas. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: In the first year, the curriculum offered a broad exposure with diverse courses like biosciences, EVS, and sociology, which helped develop interdisciplinary perspectives. Faculty members are generally qualified and supportive in terms of teaching quality.

Really good infrastructure and research facilities.
Placements: 96.88 percent of students placed last year. The highest offer made last year was 45 LPA, and the average package is 25.70 LPA. The top recruiters are Accenture, Goldman Sachs, and Google. Almost 50 percent of students got internships. The recruiters are NVIDIA, Texas Instruments, and Google. The roles offered are SDE and design engineers.
Infrastructure: There are fully digitalized classrooms. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus with 20 Mbps of speed. The labs are equipped with all the latest equipment, but many times some of them are faculty. The library is very good, with almost 45,000+ books and 3000+ e-journals.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, but many of them lack teaching skills, especially in the math faculty. Many times, students have to rely on YouTube to prepare for exams. The course structure is very relevant to current industry trends. The semester exams are tough. The passing percentage is relatively high.

IIT, Indore, is one of the best new IITs.
Placements: 94.5% of students got placed. The highest domestic package offered was 56 LPA. The average package was 23.5 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, and Qualcomm are some of the top recruiters. If your CGPA is above 7, you will easily get an internship. There are not many non-core recruiters.
Infrastructure: Since the campus is only 7-8 years old, all buildings are very clean and well maintained. We have flats with 5 bedrooms and 2 attached toilets and bathrooms. Hostels have a badminton court, table tennis table and foosball. Food is okayish, but it is slowly improving. Classrooms are air-conditioned and spacious.
Faculty: The faculty are researchers whose part-time job is teaching. Out of 10 teachers, maybe 3-4 will be passionate about teaching. So sometimes, you may feel lost in direction. Since this is a research-focused institute, the courses are up to date and relevant. Exams are not too difficult given you pay attention to lectures.
Other: Most of the classes don't require attendance. The campus is 20 km from Indore city. It takes about 45 minutes to go since the road is bad. Campus life is great with something or the other always happening (gaming tournaments, sports, debates, etc.). Seniors are very helpful and give useful advice given you approach them. Fests and other events are organized by the students, and it can be a great experience in event management.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2025 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
