The candidates having preparatory ranks in JEE Advanced will not be able to participate in JOSSA counselling. So, you will not get any seat in IIT during the JOSSA counselling in present year. However, you will trained in IITs for one year and after successfully completion of training you will get vacant seats in IITs in next year.

The cut-offs fluctuate every year, and this year was no exception. However, because counselling has not yet taken place, it is difficult to give you an exact idea of your chances of getting a seat in a particular college based on your JEE-Advance rank. However, if we take last year's data into account and align it with this year's overall cut-offs, we can give you an idea of your expected chances of getting a seat based on your JEE-Advance rank.

As per IIT Bhubaneswar cut off 2023 for JAM 2023 Fourth Admission List, the opening and closing ranks for MSc Geology are 92 and 151, respectively. Also, for MSc Atmosphere and Ocean Sciences, the opening and closing ranks stood at 156 and 286, respectively. Tabulated below are IIT JAM 2023 Opening Ranks (ORs) and Closing Ranks (CRs) for various MSc specialisations offered by IIT Bhubaneswar:

IIT Roorkee accepts IIT JAM scores for admission to the MSc course. Analysing the IIT JAM cutoff, MSc in Economics was turned out to be the most competitive specialisations when compared it with the other four specialisations. For Mathematics, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 247 and 272, respectively for the Economically Weaker Section category candidates for the All India Quota. So, considering the 2023 cutoff ranks, yes a candidate can get into IIT Roorkee with 200 rank in IIT JAM for MSc in Mathematics.
