Yes, IIT Dharwad offers scholarships to its BTech students, three types of scholarships offered are Merit-cum-Means, Free Messing, and Remission of Fee. The Merit-cum-Means scholarship is for students from the General, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories, covering tuition fees and a monthly scholarship of INR 1,000. The Free Messing scholarship is for SC and ST category students and covers tuition fees, pocket allowance and messing facilities. IIT Dharwad offers BTech specialisations in seven streams, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics & Computing, Chemical & Biochemical Engineering, and Civil & Infrastructure Engineering. Some of the top recruiters of IIIT Sonepat include Flipkart, IBM, Accolite, Virtusa Polaris and Aricent. In addition, large number of IIIT Sonepat alumni are placed in the Engineering sector with 70 percent share according to unofficial sources.

The Round 1 closing cutoff was 5162 for IIT Dharwad BTech in Computer Science and Engineering course. JoSAA R1 seat allotment result was released on June 30 for IIT Dharwad admission to the BTech, Intergrated BTech and BArch courses, where the opening rank was 2344 for the General All India category students. For 2022 and 2021, IIT Dharwad Round 1 closing cutoff ranks were 4777 and 4718, respectively. So, considering the 2023 round 1 closing cutoff with 2022 and 2021, IIT Dharwad is showing a decling threds as the cutoff is keep on increasing for CSE specialisation.

The Round 1 JEE Advanced minimum cutoff for IIT Palakkad was 3507 for the Computer Science and Engineering course for the General category students. The closing rank for the same was 4531. For 2022 and 2021, the closing cutoff ranks were 19296 and 19015, respectively for the All India General category students.
IIT Palakkad BTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the JEE Advanced entrance exams, followed by the counsellling process. JEE Advanced qualified candiddates are only eligible for IIT Palakkad BTech admission.
