There will be seats reserved for preferential allotment at all the IITs for candidates belonging to Defence Service. To get the seat in this quota the candidate needs to be listed in the Common Merit List released after the announcement of JEE Advanced Result. Hi there. The eligibility criteria for class 12 percentage was removed earlier due to Covid 19. But the criteria is back in place now. From 2023 for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JEE (Joint Entrance Examination), candidates are required to score at least 75% marks in their Class 12 board exams. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum required marks are 60%. Meeting this eligibility criterion is essential to be considered for admissions to these prestigious institutes.
