Jee advanced and Mains have limited syllabus and higher passing rate of 2-3% for getting into IIT based on 12th and 11th. CA has foundation intermediate final levels having pass rate of less than 0.0033% overall and never ending syllabus. Hence, CA is much tougher than IIT, CA is course but IIT JEE is only an entrance based on reservation .

Yes, IIT Bhilai offers various categories of scholarships to its UG as well as PG students. It encourages its students to apply for scholarships so that their path toward academic excellence could be supported well. The details of all IIT Bhilai scholarships are provided below:
- Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship: This scholarship is available to a maximum of 25% of undergraduate students in the UR and OBC categories.
- SC/ST Scholarship: This can be availed by all undergraduate students belonging to SC and ST categories. The eligible students are able to avail of free food and boarding as well as an allowance of Rs 250 per month.

IIT Bhilai uses a Fractal Academic System that includes continuous evaluation of its students, and more choices on the subject they wish to pursue outside their core area, which makes it an edge over the other 6 baby IITs established in 2016. IIT Bhilai is also part of the National Knowledge Network (NKN), under which all the national-level institutes are connected via the high-speed fibre network. Apart from academia, the student life at IIT Bhilai includes several extra-curricular activities which are held by various student clubs from hackathons to cultural events, all mostly managed by the student bodies.

There is no such provision for getting direct admission to any of the IITs including IIT Bhilai. Candidates willing to be admitted must meet the eligibility and selection criteria established by the institute. Below are the courses offered at IIT Bhilai along with eligibility and selection criteria:

IIT Bhilai offers a four-year full-time BTech programme which is its flagship programme. The institute offers a BTech programme across six specialisations. Given below are the six BTech specialisations offered at IIT Bhilai:
