The IIT preparation apps are plenty these days so we cannot judge any app as we don't have any idea about their preparation method. And it also depends more on the student than the apps.
So whatever you choose, your effort matters a lot. Choose the one of your choice and also put a lot of effort as mostly they offer previous year papers and model papers only.

This was my typical schedule, of course, it varied
8:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Classes
1PM - 2:00 PM: Lunch + Rest
2:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Study
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Dinner + Recreation
9:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Study
Whenever I got bored, I used to just chill around, talk to family on phone or go to sleep.
You can use this timetable after making the necessary changes.

CSE at DTU of course. DTU has a strong establishment. These new IITs don't compare with the likes of DTU, NSIT, old NITs, BITS Pilani, IIITH, etc. If you just want to go for the IIT tag then its your choice. But wise decision will be to go for above mentioned institutions. Going for newer IITs just for the sake of brand name is like buying Iphone 4 just for the sake of apple tag when you could have bought much advanced and better phone at the same price.

Hi,
As per your ranks in general category it is really difficult to get an IIT. But you may try for IIST or IISC Bangalore, etc. as they also intake students with JEE advanced scores only.
You may use the branch predictor below:

For the last year closing and opening ranks refer:
