There isn't a single minimum score to get into any IIT. You need to qualify the JEE Advanced exam which is tougher than JEE Main. While 85 percentile in JEE Main is good, for IITs, you generally aim for a higher score, like 250+ or 85-95 percentile range. This translates to securing a rank typically above 4500 in JEE Advanced. Cutoff scores change every year, so a good score puts you in a competitive spot for IIT admissions.
