No, there is no provision for direct admission to IIIT Manipur. Candidates have to go through the admission process predefined by the institute. IIIT Manipur offers BTech and PhD programmes, admissions to which are based on performance of the candidate in the entrance exam accepted. The selection criteria for both programmes are mentioned below:

IIIT Manipur offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to the programme is based on JEE Main rank, followed by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) Counselling. According to the latest placements of PJSTAU The placements are good, and up to 85% of students got placed. The top recruiting companies are Amul etc. Almost all the students with a high percentage of 85% got placed. Students should have a minimum of 55% to pass.
