I all the hostels mess food covers all the variety from North to authentic Quizines of the Himachal pradesh too.Although we often quiet miss the taste that we are habitual for our home cooked food but on course of academics it can be neglected. Some of the items of a hostel mess menu is depicted below.
A student run mess is present in the hostel compound and serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines. The mess offers a healthy mix of different Indian tastes originating from different States. Mess affairs are being taken care by Mess Secretary who is elected by the students. S/he is responsible for the smooth function

The students are advised to attend the lectures regularly and also Extra Academic Activities (NCC, NSS, NSO including camps and other pre-publicised programmes) for which they have been registered.
A student will not be allowed to appear for the examination if his/her attendance is less than 75% and also they will not be awarded certificates for the Extra Academic Activities.
