Kerala University PG Selection Criteria

• The admission to the above-mentioned PG courses is based on the Entrance Exam conducted by the University
• The syllabus of the exam changes for each PG course.
• Candidates shall secure at least 25% (20% for SC/ST category) of the average marks of the stream in the entrance examination conducted by the University of Kerala. 
• Rank list for admission shall be prepared based on the performance in the entrance exam. 
• Sponsored candidates will be called for the personal Interview at the University campus.
• For sponsored candidates, ranking shall be based on 80% weightage for CGPA / aggregate marks at the Bachelor level and 10% for work experience and 10% for an interview conducted by the Department Council.

Kerala University PG Admission Entrance Exam Pattern 

To get admission to PG courses at Kerala University, candidates are required to appear in an entrance examination conducted by Kerala University. No candidate will provide admission without appearing in the PG entrance examination. However, the restrictions aren't applicable on ST/SC students that are admitted to vacant seats, sponsored candidates, and foreign candidates.

There are various fest are celebrated in the college in order to boost the potential of students and also to increase the collaboration between different departments within college. Events like- Management fest, sports meet, research presentations, cultural activities, students exchange programs etc.

Gender ratio of college is about 70-30 among boys and girls.It depends over the department which effects the interest of gender. Yes Dorm parties are in college and they are also needed because sometimes its necessary to raise voice among college to management for raise the standards of study. There is no space for religion because at Masters level students are enough mature that they don't think about any nationality or religion. College is at its starting phase so there is lack of workshops or labs, but management is doing there best for providing facilities to students.

Himachal Pradesh University maintains THIRTEEN Hostels - FOUR for boys and NINE for girls. These provide accommodations to approximately 972 girls and 567 boys students. The hostel administration has following levels: Chief Warden and Warden (s). All admissions in hostels are made in order of merit of the students as prepared/forwarded by the concerned department from various disciplines. However, all Rights of Admission to the University Hostels are reserved with the Chief Warden.

All hostels have facilities of Mess, Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi and LAN, Common Room equipped with LED TV, current magazines, newspapers and Indoor games. A Dining aHall is maintained hegienicaaly HHall is maintained hygienically for boarders to enjoy their meals. Each hostel has a Warden and office staff who are responsible for its smooth functioning and to carry out routine activities. The Prefects will be appointed by the Hostel Warden amongst the senior boarders of good standing to assist him/her in the administration of the hostel. The Warden alongwith different Committees maintain discipline, academic and peaceful atmosphere in the hostel. Besides, all hostels are under CCTV surveillance 24x7.

There are not much activities and societies in the university because this university lacks a permanent campus. Hostels have good infrastructure but very far from university. University organizes various cultural fest on a annual basis.

University provide scholarship for Low family income students on merit basis. They are offering full freeship and half freeship.

This university lacks a permanent campus.It has been established on 2009 but still operates on rented buildings so it doesn't enjoys much of the environment as per other universities in India. The university have full wifi facility. Library is too small because of temporary campus but equipped with good books.
