M.Sc. Mathematics in IIT Delhi review.
Placements: Some students opt for tech placements and some opt for ed-tech placements. Very few students opted for a Ph.D. Top tech companies like Robust and Accenture visit the college. Edtech companies like Allen, FIITJEE, Bhautiki, and PW visit the college. Approximately 90% of students who are preparing for placements get internships and jobs.
Infrastructure: Hostels are great. In the first year of M.Sc, 2 students should share one room. In the second year, separate rooms are provided. The hostel has facilities like free Wi-Fi, a music room, an activity room, a gym, and a good mess. A variety of food items are available in the mess menu. The food quality is very good.
Faculty: All professors are the best in their fields. They are very helpful and friendly in nature. The course curriculum is also very good. Students have great opportunities to master any field. They always have a fear of semester exams. Semester exams are moderately hard.
Other: I found the data science field very interesting, so I joined this college. I think the course can be made more interesting by adding more project work to the course curriculum. At IIT Delhi, events are held very frequently so that students can hang out with their friends.

IITD is one of the great experiences for my educational journey.
Placements: In our last batch, around 14 students were placed. The highest salary package was 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 6 LPA. EdTech company was highly interested in our batch. Internships offered were in research field. Course will prepare students more for tech side as compared to teaching side.
Infrastructure: Our department has its own library, which is well-stocked for students. Hostel provides a great environment and good quality. They provide students best quality food with varieties. Medical facilities are free. Our department conducts sports day two times a year.
Faculty: Teachers have great knowledge and they are supportive. All professors have foreign education. Our course provides opportunities for extracurricular aspects. Exams are not that hectic. Pass percentage is 30%.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge in mathematics. Faculty have a great alumni network. The course focuses more on research than teaching. This needs to change. Fests conducted here are awesome. It is one of the best in South Asia. They even had Bill Gates visited for the inauguration last time. Scholarships are provided to students from low economical background. We have a great network here for exploring.

One of the best IITs : IITD.
Placements: The placements are pretty good in IIT Delhi. Most of the B.Tech students got placed. In M.Sc. Maths there are enough opportunities and if you are well prepared you can easily get a job. Top companies are PWC, Barkleys, Bank of Scotland and many more. Most job profiles are data scientist, data analyst and research and teaching.
Infrastructure: The college facilities and department labs, classrooms are really good. The atmosphere allows you to study well. Library is well lit and has a lot of books. The hostel mess is good. There is hospital in the campus for medical facilities and reference in AIIMS for emergency. Sports facilities are also very good with large grounds.
Faculty: Courses are really good. You get enough knowledge to understand the concept and help you to get good opportunities in future. Professors are very hard working and friendly. You can easily approach them in case of any difficulties. Semesters exams are moderate and tough enough to excel in future.

Chance of a lifetime to study at IIT Delhi.
Placements: Not many are placed from the IIT Delhi in M.Sc. physics as this course is not primarily professional and IIT Delhi do not promote coaching therefore coaching institutes are not allowed in the placements, therefore from our batch (2016-2018) there were 0 placements in campus placement. But it does't means that the course in not good.
Infrastructure: As you all might already know the infrastructure of IIT Delhi is great a bit of problem has to be faced in hostel during 1st year but even that sorts out in the next year. Research lab for physics are of high quality and various amenities are provided to us including 24 hr access to computer lab and library.
Faculty: The faculty at IIT Delhi is of top quality in terms of merit, they all possess vast amount of knowledge but only a few are good at delivering that knowledge in a good way, many a times teaching through slides is preferred by professors but some of the professor make extra efforts so overall the faculty is good and the course is a bit heavy as can be expected as it is IIT but ample exposure is given to student.

There are placements for m sc physics in IIT Delhi and the package is also very good you will get minimum package of Inr 8.00 lacs pa.

Hello Niranjan,
IITs accept Diploma as equivalent to 12th. Hence, firstly you need to score at least 75% in Diploma and then clear JEE Mains and JEE Advanced with good rank to get into IIT-Delhi.
