IIT Bombay offers admission to the BDes course on the basis of performance in the UCEED exam. The cutoff was released as opening and closing cutoff ranks. For the SC All India category candidates, the cutoff rank in the Round 1 was closed at 7. In 2024 and 2023, the cutoff ranks were closed at 5. Therefore, the competition for the SC AI category candidates has shown a slight decline since the past 2 years.

As per the IIT Bombay JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, the needed rank to get admission to BTech and BTech Integrated courses stood between 68 and 7430 for the General AI category candidates. Further, to get a smooth selection at IIT Bombay it is always better to acquire a rank as low as possible. Securing a All India rank under 50 will allow you to go for any course of your choice at IIT Bombay.

IIT Bombay accepts JEE Advanced scores. If we talk about the IIT Bombay 2023 cutoff, candidates had witnessed lenient cutoffs as compared to IIT Bombay JEE Advanced cutoff 2022. However, 11000 rank is quite more than the official cutoff released by the institute. You should at least have a rank of 9064 under General AI category. Further, candidates seeking admission under OBC AI category must aim a rank below 4004.

First of all, IIT Bombay doesn't offer BTech courses based on Home State quota. Candidates with All India quota from any state will be eligible for the counselling rounds. So, if you belong to Delhi, then you are equally eligible than that of a candidates belonging to Bombay. Further, IIT Bombay cutoff 2023 has been released for various All India quotas including General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD categories. Moreover, as we all know that IIT Bombay is one of top IITs of India. So, getting a seat with 12000 is a hard nut to crack as the cutoff in itself closing at 9064 in the last-round for the General AI category.
