Yes. Candidates do need to complete the medical internship till the given deadline menioned in the official brochure for INI CET. Completing the medical internship is one of the eligibility criteria for INI CET exam. It must be noted only those candidates who have valid MBBS/BDS degree and completed mandatory 12 months internship, can apply for the exam.

There is no official figure of total number of registrations for INI CET exam. Since 2020, number of candidates have been increasing for the exam. For 2024-25 session, around 60, 000 candidates appeared. As INI CET is one of the toughest exam in medical field, only few candidates qualify the exam and get desired college and course.

The top colleges accepting INI CET scores include 19 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and SCTIMST, Trivandrum. Candidates have to apply online and score the minimum cut off to qualify for INI CET exam. Those who qualify the exam with minimum cut off are eligible for online counselling for seat allocation.

Yes. Exam is one of the toughest exams to get admission into PG courses in medical field. However, it can be cracked with proper planning and strategies. Students are advised to prepare all subjects taught during MBBS course. Only those candidates who have valid MBBS degree from recognised college or university can apply for exam. AIIMS conducts exam twice a year, January and July session.

At times, questions get repeated in the INI CET exam. But candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly so that they can answer every possible question in the exam. As the INI CET is one of the toughest exams, candidates should focus on concepts. Targeting Top 1 to 50 ranks: To achieve a single-digit or two-digit rank aim for marking 160 to 185 accurate answers. For Ranks 50 to 200: Try marking around 150 to 160 questions correctly based on the target medical course. To get Ranks up to 500: Candidates must focus on answering 144 to 150 questions correctly.

Candidates must check the admit card to know the INI CET exam centre. AIIMS allots the INI CET exam centre to the candidates through the admit card. Candidates will have to find the name and address of the INI CET 2025 exam centre on the admit card.

AIIMS allots the INI CET exam centre to candidates through an admit card. INI CET 2025 exam for the July session will be conducted on May 17, 2024. Candidates have to find the name and address of the INI CET 2025 exam centre on the admit card. Candidates will have to fill three exam city options in terms of their preference in the application form. The allocation of a particular exam centre is based on the completion of the application and the availability of computer nodes in the city.

INI CET 2024 exam analysis for the July session is available on the Shiksha portal. It must be noted that the INI CET 2024 analysis is based on the responses of students who attended the exam. The exam was held on May 19, 2024, from 9 am to 12 pm. INI CET 2024 question paper was divided into 4 sections. Each section had 50 questions and candidates were provided 45 minutes to answer each section. As per students, INI CET July 2024 was moderately difficult. The INI CET cut-off is the last rank and percentile at which seats are allocated in that particular course. Candidates have to score the minimum cut-off to qualify for the INI CET exam. The qualifying INI CET 2024 cut off percentile for the general category is 50%. Candidates who belong to the SC/ST/OBC category have to score a minimum qualifying cut-off of 45. INI CET 2024 cut-off will be released by AIIMS for different categories such as UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST, and PwBD. The qualifying cut-off percentile for the general category is 50th while for SC/ST/OBC and PwBD candidates, the percentile is 45th.

AIIMS announced dates for final registration for INI CET 2025 November exam. The registration started on September 30, 2025. Candidates have to generate EUC to complete the final registration. It must be noted candidates whose basic registration has already been accepted only those can generate EUC. The exam is scheduled to be ehld on November 9, 2025.
