Yes, Jaypee University of Information Technology provides several scholarship schemes to the eligible students. In order to avail of any of the provided schemes, candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria of the scheme. JUIT Solan offers the following scholarships to its students:

  • William Webster Merit-Cum-Means scholarship
  • Sri Badrika Ashram Emerging Youth Scholarship 
  • 30% TFW to wards of serving & retired armed forces & PMF Personnel
  • 35% TFW to wards of Veer Naris (War Widows) and PWD

JUIT Solan admission is done on the basis of fulfilment of the course-specific admission criteria. The university offers a limited number of seats for its programmes. Jaypee University Solan offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes across Engineering and Sciences streams. All applicants for the BSc are encouraged to make sure that they meet these criteria to enhance their chances. Eligibility criteria for admission to BSc programme at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan is as follows:

  • Educational Qualification: Class 12 or equivalent qualification from a recognised board at least 60% aggregate marks

The details available do not specify the eligibility criteria for the JUIT Solan BSc scholarship. If students are under the Jaypee Education System, then the eligibility to receive the William Webster Merit -Cum-Means Scholarship is that applicants must have a combined parental income of less than or equal to INR 1.5 Lacs per annum. Similarly, a merit requirement needs to be maintained by students concerned in relation to their academic performance. The continuity for the scholarship in subsequent years is that students maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on the 10-point scale.

There are certain eligibility criteria that one must fulfill to continue the William Webster Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship in subsequent years, which are mentioned below: The student has to maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a 10-point scale. The combined income of the parents/guardians should be below INR 1.5 lakhs per annum. But at JUIT Solan, there is no particular BSc scholarship scheme.
