Yes, Jaypee University of Information Technology follows reservation guidelines as issued by the Government of India. A certain percentage of the total seat intake of each course is reserved for various categories, such as SC/ ST/ EWS/ PWD, etc. Further, the university also reserves seats for its BTech students belonging to certain categories. JUIT Solan reservation policies for its BTech course are as follows:

Jaypee University of Information Technology provides BTech course across several specialisations. To be eligible for getting into this course, students must fulfil the admission criteria as prescribed by the university. The basic eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognised board. Further, 50% of the total seats are offered based on valid JEE Main score and the remaining 50% through merit basis.
