The minimum eligibility criteria for BTech at Jaypee University of Information Technology is Class 12 with a minimum 50% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory subjects. The selection criteria for the course is entrance-based and the University accepts JEE Main scores to shortlist candidates for admission followed by a counselling round. The official cutoff related information is not released by the University on its official website. Interested candidates can make a call on their helpline number to undestand the requirements for admission.

While UPES (Admission Office) offers this course in 31 specialisations, Jaypee University of Information Technology offers the same in 5 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at UPES (Admission Office) due to higher seats.

However, in terms of affordability, Uttaranchal University is a better option since the total tuition fee for Uttaranchal University is INR 595,200 - INR 1,084,000 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at Jaypee University of Information Technology is INR 1,197,000.
