Floating option: The chosen person accepts the given seat and wants to select a stay in the education system for the best / the highest popularity of any Center if given in the next round. No In IIST there is no seperate JEE exam. For admission IIT JEE entrance examination marks would be considered.

Hello Mohammed Mudassir, admissions in IIT's are based on performance in JEE Advanced. But one can appear for JEE Advanced only if the ranking is good in JEE Mains. Thus we can safely say that for getting admission in IIT, one must score well in JEE Mains as well as JEE Advanced. Best wishes to you.
