You are eligible for JEE Advanced if you have the required cutoff clear if JEE Mains. At the end of JEE Mains result it must be written that you are qualified for advanced. Observe the score carefully.

75% is the criteria but from this year pattern is changed. Class 12th marks will not be counted in ranks for JEE Mains, however, at the time of reporting to the college for document verification, it will be checked.

Engage Publication is for JEE Mains level and other equivalent examinations. Do not rely on either of the books for examinations like JEE Advance. For Advance level you can refer ML Khanna. Its question bank is very good. Refer IIT mathematics by Das Gupta. It is the most important book recommended by many teachers. If you want more questions and that too of good level then refer FIITJEE notes.

Hi,
JEE Advance is the examination which tests the overall preparation and analysis of a student. So a student must study from standard books. Here are the names of books:
Mathematics: IIT mathematics by Das Gupta and TMH Publication along with MTG Publication of past years papers.
Chemistry: Prakash Bahadur for numerical chemistry.
Arihant Publication for inorganic.
Jagdamba Singh for organic chemistry.
Physics: book by IE Irodov. Advance has direct questions from this book.
2) TMH publication and MTG publication past year's papers.
