Candidates should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks with Mathematics and English as subjects of study. 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/ State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.

Syllabus for 12th board, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced is almost same. What is different is the way questions are set. If you work on your concepts during board exam preparation, then your 75% preparation for JEE is over.

It's very nice to know your dreams. One year is more than enough. You must firstly plan for following. Time for each subject every day. Time for exercise, pranayam and yoga every day. Time for relaxing activity like singing, listening or playing a musical instrument. After few months, take mock tests every fortnight. In the end some exposure to coaching classes. They will teach you how to answer quickly in exam.

The rank list would be prepared in the same way as the CRL (common rank list). But, only the candidates under this category would be considered.
They could be categorized based on the marks scored in each section.
In JEE, the person with higher marks in maths, would be placed in a higher rank and after that physics followed by chemistry.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for JEE Mains. Remember, max three attempts for JEE Mains and max two attempts for JEE Advanced.
