You should have studied just a wee bit better and obtained rank within 10K, your admission would have been confirmed. However don't worry. I am attaching a link that will predict college for you:

Now about preparation.
First, clear your concepts.
Solve papers of JEE Advanced from 2000 -2017 year.
This way, you will learn time management and also get where you are now and what improvement is needed.
For clearing concepts, NCERT is enough.
Then solving NCERTs exemplar question will also help.
If you have got enough time or you think this is not enough, go for reference questions.

You need to score around more than 260 to get into top NITs for CSE and around 250 for other branches. I'm talking about general category students. Hope this got cleared, good luck!

The best way to predict a college through JEE Mains score is using shiksha college predictor. After that, just go for the counselling of that college. You may also choose a private college like BITS-Pilani, SRM, VIT, SKIT-Jaipur, Galgotias, Sharda, LPU and NIRMA.
So go for it.
