The best book for JEE is Ncert as first of all you have to clear basics once you are done with it, than you can go for other high level books for practising the questions. Regards, Rajdeep Sinha.

If you don't do well in JEE than you can take admission in private engineering colleges also you can give exams like COMEDK, CUSAT, WBJEE OJEE & other state government engineering exams. Hope you got your answer.

You should Prepare with Ncert first, when you are done with Ncert than you can go for books like Hc verma, you should get material of any coaching institution and practise from it well. Hope you got your answer. Regards, Rajdeep Sinha.
