For architecture courses, you need to clear JEE Mains paper 2 and JEE Advanced. To get admission into IITs for B. Arch courses, you need to clear an Architecture aptitude test (AAT) based on which you will be allotted seats.
However, JEE Mains paper 2 scores are being accepted by many reputed colleges.

If you talking about the AITS (All India Test Series) by various institutes for JEE, then definitely the paper is toughest of all times. The only purpose is to develop that exam environment and prepare well for the situation. These test series are no doubt difficult but JEE Mains is far more easy than that.
