If I am preparing for JEE exam, do I need to prepare separately for MUOET?

No, you don't need to prepare for MUOET separately if you are preparing for JEE exam. MUOET paper is quite easy as compared to JEE paper. You just have to solve mock papers of MUOET to get an idea of paper pattern and quality as well as the quantity of questions asked.
Syllabus of both the exams is almost similar. Physics, chemistry and mathematics are common in both the exams. But MUOET asks few questions of English and aptitude.
Again, the level of aptitude and English is not too high, you can easily prepare for it in one or two months before the examination. You can take a lot of mock papers to boost your confidence.

There are bulk of coaching institutes for IIT JEE in Uttar Pradesh. But, few coaching institutes are good. If you are planning for JEE preparation, then I will recommend you to visit Kota once. However, you can also join coaching institutes in UP to. In the end of the day, your hard work will pay you. Coaching institute may play vital role in your selection. List of some good coaching institutes for IIT JEE in UP are:
1: FIIT JEE, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow

Hello Manoj,
JEE Mains needs to be cleared with good marks to get admission in any of the NIT's in any branch including Aeronautical. If you want to get admission in any IIT then you have to score above cutoff of JEE Mains and then score good marks in JEE Advanced.
For admission into your state, you need to clear entrance exam of the state.

Maths is one of the easiest parts in JEE Mains after Chemistry.
You just need to memorize formulas and shortcut trick.
Follow only one book. (NCERT is not good for IITJEE).
Tata Mc Graw Hill for JEE Mains is one of the best books. It is also enough for JEE Advanced. It has a lot of questions with solutions. Solve it completely.
And in last 4 months, buy Arihant 38 years for Maths.
You can easily score 100+ marks if you follow my tips.

True that even with self-study, you can achieve anything. In this case, clear the JEE Mains, but that doesn't mean it is the easier of the two alternatives. Coaching makes life easier for its students, and contrary to the popular opinion it does not have to be a nightmarish experience. And it will definitely improve your rank.
