Hello Satya,
Firstly, please do not begin your preparation with the assumption that you will not clear it. Have a positive frame of mind. You have an opportunity of appearing three times for JEE Mains. So taking a drop of one year to prepare is a very good decision.

If you have studied well for UP board exams then you may try for JEE this year itself. UP board is tough as compared to CBSE and you still have time for the exam. You can prepare well. Also, if you are not able to crack JEE and don't get a good engineering college then you can drop a year. But remember that your target are IITs but if you are getting admission in a reputed institute like DTU, BITS Pilani or NITs then also do not take a drop, rather take admission in those colleges as they also offer good placements.

If it is JEE Mains then solve TMH JEE Mains for maths, HCV for physics, RC Mukherjee for chemistry, Himanshu Pandey for organic chemistry and mug up full NCERT for inorganic.
Solve IIT JEE and Mains past year's papers honestly without frequently looking at the answers and then you may get more than your expectations.

Hello,
This is a crucial time in which you need to perform better and try to be the best in both your board exams as well as JEE exams.
If you are preparing from now for JEE, you can score more marks even though you could clear it. But with proper preparation and hard work you can.
First, focus on all the concepts in PCM. As you would be clear with 12th class, try to have a glimpse of the 11th class syllabi as you get questions from both 11 and 12 classes.
Then, refer to the good study books and test series preparations like Arihant and practice a lot.
Have the formulae in your fingertips so that you could be faster in calculations. To impr

Hello,
No. JEE is the exam that is used for admission into undergraduate engineering programs only and the score is used for admission into the colleges that come under JEE and the institutes that accept JEE scores.

The admissions are through Haryana counselling which takes JEE mains rank as its parameter. Depending on the branch you want to choose, the cutoff rank may vary but you need to qualify JEE mains.

The admission is through Haryana counselling which takes your JEE mains rank into consideration. If you have OBC quota, you will need to get around 32,000 to 37,000 rank in your Mains exam.
