I got 85 marks in JEE Mains that is 103847 rank and 85% in CBSE boards and I was the last admitted student in IT in DY PATIL Akurdi IT branch. My merit no. was 7157 which was the first round IT cut-off for DY PATIL Akurdi. So, you can see your chances are nil.

Yes, why not. You can do B.Tech in private college after your class 12th and JEE equivalent preparation as the syllabus for engineering is similar as JEE but only in 1st semester.

Hi Manikanta! The best way to prepare for calculus is practice. First of all make sure your theory is clear, and then practice as much problems as you can. Problems help to save the entire theory in your mind. They would make you confident enough to solve any new calculus problem you face. Spend atleast 1-2 hours on any question that you couldn't solve. Calculus is just a game of mind and IQ, so think as much as you can. As for some books, IA Maron would be a great help. All the best!

The JEE score is valid in most of the colg. And is the creteria for the merit list and cutoffs. Do visit the official websites of the institutes for percise and bonafide information is my suggestion.
