Hello Akassh,
Taking a drop of one year is upto you but there are some other good private universities like BITS Pilani, VIT University, Manipal, SRM, Amrita, etc. where of is better to do engineering (B.Tech). But, it is necessary to have cleared the respective exams.
If you have cleared them and have a good rank then, there is no need to take a drop for one year.

You need to go to www.askiitians.com and then, you need to create a profile for yourself. Then, you can get your free e books by clicking the respective tabs and then you can download them.
There is also an app for the same.

You need to maintain a total of 75% or more than 75% in your board exams in order to get admission in IIIT Ahmedabad for CSE.

You can try for management seat but Management quota admission and fee cost is not advertised openly by any of the colleges/universities across India as being a paid seat it totally depends on the discretion of the college authorities

To get admission on any IIT's you have to good rank on JEE(ADVANCE) or for NIT's you have to be meritorious on JEE (mains). then according to category reservation and cuttoff can get admission.
