According to the search results, JEE is not required for B.Tech at RIMT University. However, candidates who have passed 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks are eligible for admission through LEET counseling.

It's advisable to directly contact RIMT University's admission office or visit their official website to get the most accurate and updated information regarding the admission process for B.Tech programs.

They can provide details about the specific entrance exams or criteria required for admission, including whether JEE scores are considered or if they have their own entrance test for B.Tech admissions.

I hope this helps.

For students from Andhra Pradesh/Telangana:

  • Most B.Tech specializations: JEE is not required for admission through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET,  which is the mandatory entrance exam for B.Tech programs for these states. Minimum qualifying marks in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET vary depending on the category (General,  SC,  ST,  etc.) and competition for specific specialties.
  • Certain newer B.Tech specializations: Some newer specialties like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning or Data Science might additionally require scores from JEE Main and/or Advanced alongside Andhra Pradesh EAMCET for admiss
