First of all the Jee mains are the exams which are given after 12th for securing IIT or Nit depending on the rank which u are securing. There are equal weightage of each of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics in JEE Mains.

Yes, you can get admission by giving some other exams other than JEE like vittee, BITSAT WBJEE etc. Or by any entrance exam of college for particular course of B.Tech.

One must obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12th exam. Admissions to 70% of the seats will be based on the merit rank obtained by giving 50% weightage to normal aggregate Class XII Marks and 50% weightage to JEE Main scores through institutional counselling. Session-1 marks are enough for admission in B.Tech courses. However if you are giving session-2, then best one will be counted for admission. Candidates who had filled out the JEE Mains 2023 registration form in session 1 need not register again for session 2. All candidates who have applied in sess

The overall marks required in JEE Mains are calculated on the basis of performance. The JEE Main 2023 exam pass mark varies with categories. The general category candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 85%. For the SC/ST/PWD categories, they must score a minimum of 65% in aggregate.

Dear, there are a lot of engineering exams you can give other than JEE like WBJEE VITEEE CET's, BITSAT SRMJEEE COMEDK, VITEEE MHT CET.
