The period of training for MD course is three completed years including the examinations  period at JIPMER Puducherry. However, for the students with a two-year PG Diploma in the same subject, the period of training shall be two years. For admission to MD at JIPMER, candidate should have a valid MBBS degree recognised by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India with at least 55% aggregate for General and OBC category candidates and at least 50% aggregate for case SC/ST category candidates. Candidate must hold the degree and mark sheets as well during the form filling and admission confirmation.
