The seat allotment for MD at JIPMER Puducherry is carried out based on a Dynamic Roster Point allocation method to allot seats. It does not follow a discipline- or course-wise reservation policy for the seat allotment for MD courses. Moreover, there are a total of 141 seats for the MD courses at the institute. JIPMER Puducherry MD course admission is carried out based on candidates score in the INI CET exam. INI CET 2025 Jan session result has been announced. Candidates can visit the official website to download their scorecards. Moreover, the INI CET 2025 exam for the July session was held on May 18, 2025.

The total tuition fee for three-year MD courses is higher at SMVMCH, i.e., INR 21.1 Lacs to INR 25.2 lakh. Additionally, the total tuition fee for MD at JIPMER Puducherry is INR 46,580. This is just the tuition fee amount and the total fee include other components as well, such as caution money, registration fee, etc. Further, it must be noted that the mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. JIPMER BSc admission is entrance-based. Candidates are shortlisted and admission is offered based on NEET scores. However, there are some specialisations, in which the admission can be granted on merit-basis. Candidates who are Class 12 pass with PCM/Biology and English as a subject with at least 50% aggregate (for general candidates) can apply. The aspirants must meet the age limit as well. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements can apply for admission by completing the application form.
