However, for B.Arch it is necessary to have at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics as well as 50% aggregate in qualifying examination. Top 2,50,000 successful candidates on the basis of JEE Main 2022 exam will be eligible to attempt the JEE Advanced exam. And for IITs and NITs the 75% criteria is not removed, either candidate must have 75%in 12th or they must be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12th exam (65% for SC/ST candidates). .

To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022 candidates must secure more than or equal to the category-wise cutoff of JEE Main 2022. Only those candidates who meet JEE Main qualifying cutoffs will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced for admission to IITs in India.
