SIT is 60 km from Bangalore, BVB is 464km. BVB is situated in Hubli, which is more urbanized than Tumkur. You need anything just go to any mall or the market near station, which is 3 km from college. Placements are very good. CSE and ECE placements are great. Last year, Walmart Labs Inc. gave INR. 14 Lacs package to 7 CSE students while Microsoft gave INR. 9.3 lakhs package to 11 CSE students with 2 ECE students. Placement in core companies in Mech and Civil is as in almost every private college, but a bit high. Like all private colleges most of the placements will be in IT companies. Yes, you just need to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the course in that particular college. Please provide more information like which course are you pursuing in AMU and which college are you planning to opt for a psychology course in Bangalore.

As per my knowledge, before the counselling you must clear all your exams, because for the document verification and to report to the admitted college, you must need original documents or provisional marks card or provisional degree certificate. I suggest you to go through the PGCET brochure of kea for the clear idea. All the best.

According to me, Krupanidhi School of Management is one of the good college to do MBA. And some of the other colleges are:
New Horizon College
Rasa International and Business Management
GIBS Business School and others!

All the colleges mentioned above by Mallikarjunaswami are good colleges for civil engineering but NIT-Suratkal and Manipal doesn't give lateral entry through DCET.
