The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts KCET examination which is in an offline state level examination.

The KCET counselling includes document verification, web option entry, mock seat allotment, modify enteries that is post mock the option is given to modify the enteries, 3 rounds of allotment and final admission. The candidates have the choice of waiting for next round for better colleges or holding or exiting the process.

The KCET counselling procedure will be held after the release of KCET results for the selected applicants through the online mode. KCET counselling process for 2026 will be held from the 2^nd week of September.
