With a KCET rank of 52,000 for BE Computer Science & Engineering, getting into top Karnataka colleges (like RVCE, PES, BMSCE, MSRIT) is highly unlikely, as these usually require ranks within top 1,000–3,000.
You can consider:
Lower-tier NITs/Private colleges in Karnataka
State colleges with available CSE seats in later counselling rounds
Other branches like ECE, IT, or Mechanical as backup.

Yes, you can still enroll in a college through KCET if you flunked the Kannada language test but only for non-Kannada medium or non-Karnataka candidates.
Here's the simple part — the Kannada language test under KCET is only for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates (that is students who studied outside Karnataka yet claim Kannada origin). If you don't fit these categories, that test doesn't matter to you at all.
If you took that test to gain the Kannada quota seat and failed the test you wouldn't be able to get a seat under Kannada quota, but if your rank and eligibility meet, then you would be able to get a seat under general mer

No. The official authority does not release mock tests. Candidates need to refer to third party websites for the mock tests.

No. The JEE Mains emphasizes on deep knowledge and quote challenging with negative marking whereas KCET is moderately difficult which emphasizes on direct factual questions with no negative markings.

The exam tests knowledge of 11th and 12th syllabus so it is important to focus on 11th and 12th standard NCERT textbooks which gradually start by practicing previous years papers and appearing for mock examinations.
