Yes, to get into its B.E./B.Tech course, SDM College of Engineering and Technology in Dharwad does not demand a score in KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) as a matter of first choice among candidates who have to apply under government quota. The other categories are also accepted by them on COMEDK UGET. Moreover, it has the management quota which might have some marks in other entrance tests such as JEE Main or institute level specifications. Thus, KCET score is one of the common and significant ways of admission.

Yes, for taking admissions in Mangalore University, it is necessary to take over KCET entrance exams.

This is 2 2-year program.

Register for KCET after results are out, do participate in KEA counselling and take the seat in the alloted college.

With a KCET rank of 1,06,326, you can still get AI & ML in some private colleges in Karnataka. Try colleges like Acharya Institute, AMC Engineering, or New Horizon (in later rounds). Keep similar branches like CSE (Data Science) as backup. Fill more options in counseling to improve your chances.

With 85k KCET rank, you may get CSE at Presidency University, Bangalore under management quota. The fee for B.Tech CSE there is around INR 2–2.5 lakhs per year. Total cost for 4 years could be INR 8–10 lakhs including other charges. Make sure to confirm exact fees during admission—they may vary slightly.
