KGMU offers admission to PG courses such as MD and MS, on the basis of NEET PG and UP NEET PG. To get admission in KGMU through NEET PG, the General AI category student must attain the neccessary rank. KGMU NEET PG cutoff 2024 was closed between 143 and 112030.
KGMU offers admisison to PG courses via UP NEET PG to the Home State category candidates. For admission to KGMU to the PG courses via UP NEET PG, the cutoff for the General Home State category was between 1 and 6377.

Cutoff for an admission is set according to each course and category of King George's Medical University (KGMU). For the MBBS course 2024, NEET UG cutoff ranged from 2059 for the General AI category to 29714 for candidates applying for other courses, such as BDS.
Therefore, competition is tough, and very high ranks are needed to get admission into MBBS compared to other courses. Thus, the candidates must score well in the NEET examination and participate in the Uttar Pradesh State Counselling procedure to obtain a seat.

The KGMU BSc nursing result 2025 will tentatively be released in August 2025. It is 10-15 days after the exam that the KGMU, Lucknow release the result in the form of a merit list. Candidates will be able to check and download the KGMU merit list from the official website.

At 3000 rank in NEET PG, you should aim for MD in Psychiatry, MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and MD in Psychiatry if you belong to the General All India category, as these courses are the most demanded ones among all.If you belong to some other category, then you must check the category-wise cutoff list, which is available here.

KGMU grants admission to various UG and PG courses on the basis of various exams. For MD and MS specialisations, the cutoff is released on the basis of NEET PG. For MBBS and BDS admission, the cutoff is released on the basis of performance in the NEET and UP NEET exams. For MDS, NEET MDS is accepted and for MD/MDS, UP NEET PG is accepted. NEET SS, Meghalaya MBBS and Arunachal Pradesh NEET are also accepting exams for some courses.

To get admission into KGMU throught UP NEET exam, student must target the rank as per the cutoff list. As per the cutoff, the closing rank for General Home State category stood at 3484. Among the OBC HS category the last round closing rank was 3665. For SC Home State, ST Home State and PWD Home State category candidates also, the cutoff ranks were lenient than 3000. Therefore, it is possible to get admission into KGMU through UP NEET rank of 3000.

KGMU UP NEET cutoff 2024 was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. The cutoff was released for admission to MBBS course, for different categories under Home State quota. For students belonging to the General All India quota, the closing ranks for MBBS was 3484. For OBC Home State category candidates, KGMU MBBS cutoff was 3665. For the SC HS category and ST HS category candidates, the closing ranks were 37757 and 176581, respectively. Finally, for the PWD HS category, the last round closing rank stood at 660143.
