King George's Medical University is one of the top medical universities. It was established in 1905 and is known for offering MBBS programmes. KGMU is ranked 7th under the Medical category by India Today 2023,  12th by NIRF 2023 under the Medical category, and 77th by NIRF 2023 under the Overall category. The university has increased its intake to cater to a broader set of students, but this has not affected the university’s quality of teaching and placement numbers.

Unfortunately, failing the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) will prevent you from being admitted to King George's Medical University (KGMU) to pursue an MBBS. The only criteria for admission to KGMU's MBBS programme are NEET UG scores; there is no direct application process available without taking the test.
