UP NEET PG Counselling 2025: Round-3 Result (Out), Dates, Seat Allotment Process

Yes. DMET, UP released round-3 seat allotment result for UP NET PG 2025 counselling on February 16, 2026. Seat allotment result PDF was uploaded online in PDF format and students will have to download it. Registration for round-3 counselling had to be completed till February 5, 2026.

UP NEET PG counselling is conducted by Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh. Candidates will have to register online and submit application form for UP medical PG courses. After registration, they will have to choose choice of college and course for seat allotment. 

The official UP NEET PG counselling is upneet.gov.in. Candidates who qualify NEET PG have to apply under state quota and submit application form. A merit list will be released based on NEET PG rank and other details. Shortlisted candidates in the merit list will be eligible for seat allotment.

The reservation criteria for allotment of government sate quota seats have been given below:

• S.C. -21%
• S.T.-2%
• O.B.C - 27%
• EWS-10%
• PwD-5%

It must be noted candidates who want to avail 5% PwD reservation have to submit disability certificate from designated disability centres.

No. Candidates do have to pay registration fee INR 3,000 during starting of round-1 only. This fee will be valid till round-3 counselling. For stray vacancy round, candidates do have to register afresh and pay fee of INR 2,000. It must be noted fee once deposited will not be refunded.

Yes. DGME, UP postponed round-3 dates for UP NEET PG 2025 counselling. Later revised dates for round-3 were announced. Registration for round-3 had to be done till February 5, 2026. Merit list was uploaded online on February 5, 2026. 

Yes. Candidates do have to complete one year of rotatary internship for UP NEET PG counselling. For 2025-26 session, the cut off date for MD/MS course was July 31, 2025. The cut off deadline for MDS course was March 31, 2025. Round-2 counselling for seat allotment has already been completed.

No. Candidates will have to qualify NEET PG 2025 exam to participate in the counselling for UP medical PG admission 2025. Based on NEET PG rank and other details filled in the application form, a merit list will be released by Directorate of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh (DMET). The merit list comprises shortlisted candidates for UP NEET PG counselling 2025.

UP NEET PG 2025 counselling will be held in online mode. Online registration is mandatory to become eligible for the seat allotment process. Registration can be done on the official website, dgme.up.gov.in. Candidates will have to fill online application form, pay fee, declare choice for college and course for seat allotment.

Dates for UP NEET PG 2025 counselling round-3 have been revised. Counselling registration began on January 23, 2026. Deadline for round-3 registration was February 5, 2026. Round-3 choices had to be declared from Februar 6 till February 13, 2026. Round-3 seat allotment result was uploaded online on February 16, 2026. 

Round-3 UP NEET PG 2025 counselling reporting process began on February 14, 2026. Deadline for round-3 reporting was February 17, 2026. Students have to carry original documents during reporting. Seat allotment result for round-3 was uploaded online in PDF format on February 13, 2026.

Candidates will have to fulfill following eligibility criteria for UP NEET PG counselling:

• Candidate must have completed MBBS from a recognised institute located in state of Uttar Pradesh
• Those who have domicile of UP but completed MBBS degree from an institute outside state
• Those who have passed MBBS/BDS from Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admission into government/state/private/deemed universities
• He/she must have qualified NEET PG

Official website to download UP NEET PG counselling result is upneet.gov.in. Students have to provide details such as roll number, select course, email Id, captcha etc. to download counselling result. After allotment students will have to report with original documents.

Candidates have to score the minimum cut off in NEET PG to participate in UP NEET PG counselling. A state merit list is released based on NEET PG rank. Candidates do have to apply online for UP NEET PG admission. Registration and declaration of choices is mandatory for counselling.

Number of seats to be allotted through UP NEET PG counselling 2025 will be released along with the official brochure. Last year around 923 seats were allotted through various rounds of counselling. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare choice of college and course for seat alotment.
