At PMU, BA English course is extended over three years. The course duration is divided into six semesters. In each semester, students has to study a combination of core and elective subjects. Training for TOEFL, IELTS, GATE, GRE, GMAT is also provided with this course. Some of the subjects included in the course curriculum are listed below:
- Introduction to Literature
- Indian Writing in English
- History of English Literature
- Fundamentals of Academic Writing
- Literary Genres and Terms
- Aspects of Language and Linguistics
- British and American Literature
- Shakespeare Studies.

The total student intake for BA in English at PMU is 30. The student intake has been taken from the university's official website. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative. These seats are filled through a merit list released by the university based on the candidates' performance in Class 12 and the availability of seats for BA in English at the university. There is no reschedule fee for Duolingo English Test. If a test-taker already purchased the test, they must take the test within 21 days after purchase. The test credit's validity cannot be extended and you need to re-purchase the test, if your test credit expires. One can purchase one or more than one Duolingo English Test on the official website of Duolingo.

For Indian students, Duolingo English Test fee is USD 70 (INR 6000 approx). Students can book two tests at a time. However, the fee of two tests is USD 118. The cost of each test is USD 59. Earlier, the Duolingo registration fee was USD 65. Students can pay this amount using online payment methods.

The English proficiency exams accepted by British School of Marketing International are as following :-
- International English Language Testing System: Minimum score of 6 is required.
- Pearson Test of English: Minimum score of 56 is required.
Any high score is highly appreciated. However, this is the minimum score required.
