Yes, lateral entry is possible for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, but only for Bachelor of Design (B. Des. ). And B.Tech. Courses. You can not get lateral entry in the Bachelor of Commerce B.Com course. The basic admission criteria is to have a 50% aggregate in the 12th grade. Also according to university rules, the admission shall be on the basis of the merits of the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Therefore, you may either wait for the next CET exam or apply to some other college for a B.Com course.

Yes, you are eligible for lateral entry in the Diploma engineering degree. But, it totally depends from college to college because your ITI degree is in the electrician branch and you want to be admitted to the civil branch. Some colleges accept ITI students from different branches to get admission in the different branches, but not all colleges accept this. Whenever you apply to any college please check all the details of the college regarding admission. I hope this will help you.

The lateral entry process at OP Jindal University (OPJU) for a three-year full-time B.Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is as follows:
1. The eligible students have to either apply online at the official website of OPJU or submit an offline application.
2. They also need to pay a nonrefundable application fee of Rs. 500 for the B.Tech course.
