Lateral entry

Dear Student, IILM University is accepting student applications under the lateral entry/migration scheme for various undergraduate programmes including Design for the 2020-21 academic year. Under this scheme, a student can migrate from another university in India and abroad with a partially completed programme and complete the remaining programme at IILM in order to earn the degree. Application of students desirous of shifting/migrating to our University from Overseas education system or the UGC/ AICTE approved curriculum, shall be evaluated in the following manner :
IILM University will follow the UGC Guidelines of Choice-based Credit System (CBCS) for evaluation of Credit for the lateral entry scheme. Post the expression of interest by the student, the curriculum of the semesters (course) undergone by the student will be mapped with the IILM University-approved programme structure of choice. Post the course mapping and on presenting the semester completed mark sheet/s, the student will undergo the detailed admission process as defined by the respective programs. Dear Supriya, you can migrate to LPU but there are certain conditions which has to be satisfied:
Candidate must have completed his/her 1st year without any backlog/reappear. Candidate must have the minimum percentage required for eligibility qualification of the current year (in which a student is seeking migration). Student has to submit Migration Certificate and character Certificate from the head of present institute/university from which he/she is migrating. Mapping of transcripts will be processed and for this one has to pay Course mapping charges in LPU. If this goes well and there are no issues in course mapping, Candidate can join the university at any time during an academic year.
