Lateral entry

Eligibility Criteria for admission in B.Tech (Lateral Entry) is candidate must have completed Diploma in Engineering and Technology in relevant stream with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
Candidate must have completed B.Sc. From UGC/ Association of Indian Universities recognised University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject.

Hello Rush,
There are plenty of colleges, in fact almost all the colleges offering this branch for regular course also offer lateral admission in this course. However, a word of caution. Lateral admissions are invariably restricted to the students of the home state only for government colleges or government aided colleges. Unaided colleges of course take students from all over India basis and also, deemed universities also take students from all India basis. So no need to worry. First, decide which college you want to go and work hard in getting good marks in your Diploma exam because these marks will decide in which college you can get admission. Better the marks better the college.
