For lateral entry there is no entrance exam. You can apply for admission and according to your percentile in Diploma you will get admission there.

Sorry, there isn't any lateral entry for B.Tech in AMU but Diploma students can do B.E(evening) course from AMU, which is same as B.Tech but has only 3 branches i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, & Civil.

Delhi Technological University, Kalyani Government Engineering College, Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology (GCELT), Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College and Manipal institute of Technology, Karnataka.

Eligibility criteria:
Candidate must have passed Diploma in the relevant field of Engineering from a recognized university.

No, you can't get direct admission. For admission, you need to fill up the application form available on their website. Then, they will release the merit list, and on the basis of merit lists admission is granted. Your marks are good. Just wait for the notification. Best of luck.
