The B.tech lateral admission at GGSIPU are based on lateral entrance test (LEBTECH) CET code no. 128. Hence you have to appear in LEBTECH entrance test first. The eligibility criteria is as under.
Eligibility criteria : Three-years diploma (completed) in any of the following branches of Engg./Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Diploma awarding institute/university/board recognized by AICTE:- Computer Engg; Automobile Engg; Chemical Engg, Civil Engg, Construction Engg, Electrical Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg etc.
Further GGSIPU is offering only B.Tech regular programs. Hence B.Tech Non regula

Most of the institute take admission through BCECE-LE. Some of the colleges are Bhagalpur College of Engineering, Gaya College of engineering, Arayabhaytta College of Engineering.

For those Diploma holders of Maharashtra who are desirous of seeking lateral admission directly into second year of engineering college, there is no entrance exam. Admissions are based on marks obtained in Diploma exam.
