Yes, there is a provision for lateral entry for BCom courses, which allows students who have completed a relevant Diploma or other prior learning to enter directly into the second or third year of a B.Com course.

Students who have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy from a board recognised by Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Tamil Nadu, are eligible to apply for the BPharm (Lateral Entry) programme. This course at Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Pharmacy is designed to be completed in three years.

Candidate should pass in three years Diploma in Mech. / Marine / EEE / ECE with minimum 55% aggregate in final year. The minimum of 50% in English during Class 10 or Diploma. Qualifying in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India is NOT mandatory for Diploma candidates

Medical fitness certificate & Merchant Marine Psychometric Evaluation Test certificate obtained from Directorate General of Shipping approved Medical Officer. A Valid passport is required at the time of admission at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Kanchipuram.

Yes, Indo Global Group of Colleges offer lateral entry to BTech progrmme. In lateral entry, students get direct admission in the second year of the course. Candidates who have passed a minimum of three or two years Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institutions/ recognised university with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology can apply for BTech (LE).
