You should go for the textile processing branch as you will have greater chances to get this branch.

It basically depends on the number of vacant seats in that college. Sometimes even a higher rank student will not be able to get this branch. Generally, under 150 rank is desired.

It will depend upon the college but general fees for B.Tech lateral entry is same as B.Tech semester wise fees. And general fees is 25000-30000.

A lateral exam conducted by universities having some seat for diploma students at various colleges.

Do not drop now after 3 years. It would take 3 more years to complete graduation, no matter what and also nearly same amount of fee. Just endure for 1 more year, then at least you will have a graduation degree in a year rather than 3 years. Also, talk to your friends and parents before making decision. They will suggest you same.
